Ladies Aid
The Immanuel Ladies Aid was organized August 25, 1926 and is part of the Lutheran Women in Mission (LWML organized July 8, 1942). On October 31, 1946 they became affiliated with the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.

The ladies meet the first Thursday each month excluding July and serve the church community in many ways including serving dinner to the Altamont Lions Club and lunch to the Garden Club, sending baby, birthday, get well and sympathy cards, providing & serving meals for funerals, making approximately 100 pies each year for the church stand at the Effingham County Fair, donating to KFUO and LLL Media Ministry, Camp Cilca, Immanuel Lutherans for Life, Lutheran Care Center, Lutheran Hour Ministries EASTER, Family Life Center, After School Program, LCC Kids, supporting students attending Concordia Universities and the Seminary, a family in need at Christmas time and delivering Christmas Cheer boxes to members of the congregation age 80+. A Mite Box collection is taken a couple of times thru the year.

All ladies of the church are invited to become a member.
